(1) According to the type, grade and quality of the labeling object, the characteristics of the pasting surface, the use environment and the requirements of the user. If the label made of polypropylene self-adhesive label with good transparency is pasted on the transparent bottle body, the fashion feeling of no label can be produced, the grade of the commodity can be improved, and the purchase desire of consumers can be stimulated. The flexibility, shrinkage, opacity, processing characteristics and labeling characteristics of PVC film are very good, and the color is bright, which has the function of propaganda and promotion of commodities.

(2) The surface of film self-adhesive labels must be smooth and dense, with uniform density, consistent color and good light transmittance, so as to ensure that the film absorbs ink evenly and the color difference of the same batch of prints is small.

(3) The thickness of the self-adhesive label should be uniform and the strength index should be qualified. The printing pressure applied in the printing process is related to the thickness of the sticker. If the thickness is uneven, the printing pressure is also uneven, which will cause the handwriting or ink color of the label print to be different. If the film strength is too poor, the tension of the film in the printing process is difficult to control, which will have a great impact on die-cutting and waste discharge.

(4) The self-adhesive label should be flat and the rewinding tension should be uniform. Good flatness enables correct conveying, running, registration and winding during printing. The rewinding tension of the film should be uniform and appropriate, if the tension is too small, the film substrate is loose, and the vertical and horizontal overprint is not accurate; If the tension is too large, the substrate will shrink horizontally, the color register will be unstable, and it will be difficult to print normally.

(5) Film self-adhesive labels should also have the characteristics of corrosion resistance, aging resistance, no fading, small shrinkage and expansion ratio. If the corrosion resistance is poor, it is easy to age and fade, the label made is not durable, and it will also affect the sale and use of goods. If the shrinkage and expansion ratio is large, it will not only affect the overprint accuracy during printing, but also deform the label during use, affecting the sale and use of goods. Especially for the labels of high-end goods, we should try our best to avoid the embarrassing situation that the goods are not expired and the labels are aging (label aging includes plastic aging and ink fading). If necessary, the aging resistance test shall be carried out on the plastic or label to test its service performance.
